Terms of Service

The rules and guidelines for using Lipic.

By accessing or using Lipic ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Overview

Lipic is an AI powered accounting automation service that reads financial emails from your connected inbox, categorizes transactions, records ledger entries, and reconciles them against bank statements. The Service is provided by AppsWise Technologies ("we", "us", "our").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or your organization. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
  • Use the Service to process data you do not have the right to process.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent.

5. Email Access & Permissions

When you connect your email account (Gmail, Outlook, or Zoho Mail), you grant Lipic read only access to your inbox for the sole purpose of identifying financial and transaction related emails. You can revoke this access at any time from your account settings or directly from your email provider's security settings.

Important: Lipic never sends emails on your behalf, modifies your inbox, deletes messages, or accesses unrelated emails. Access is strictly read only and limited to financial pattern matching.

6. Subscription & Billing

  • Lipic offers monthly and yearly subscription plans. Pricing is displayed on our Pricing page.
  • Free trials are available on select plans as indicated at the time of signup.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled individually. Contact us within 7 days of a charge for a review.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days advance notice.

7. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of your data. Lipic processes your data solely to provide the Service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your financial data, transaction records, or uploaded documents.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our control, including third party service outages.

9. Limitation of Liability

Lipic is an automation tool designed to assist with accounting tasks. It does not replace professional accounting advice. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all transactions, entries, and reports generated by the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

  • You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time from your account settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful activity.
  • Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow export, after which it will be permanently deleted.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
